One should not go digital for the sake of digital. It is not important who gets there first but who does it well and consistently.
To choose the digital mix that will bring you revenue know:
- Which are your marketing objectives
- Who is your target audience
- How they act on digital platforms

Let’s say your target is Generation X. If you are going to meet their needs and help them find your company online be sure you know how they search.

You can go digital without publicizing it, by applying digital solutions indoors.
Which digital solutions?
There are several options, like Google Adwords. Use SEO tools to boost your results. Or use CRM, Customer Relationship Management which enables you to extract reports on sales metrics, customer retention, return on investment amongst other things (read here how Colgate used CRM). Have online influencers to mention you in their vlogs or blogs (see here how).
